Book your trip

Booking your school trip to Selly Manor Museum is easy.

Complete the contact form below or call us on 0121 472 0199 as early as possible to ensure you get the date you want.

Full day (10am-2pm)

£6 per child

Half day (10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm)

£3 per child

Teachers and helpers are free.

Payment can be made on the day by cash, cheque (payable to Bournville Village Trust) or by credit or debit card. We can invoice your school by prior arrangement.

We can have 2 classes from your school on the same day. We can have 3 classes but this will significantly limit the experience, particularly time spent on activities. If you’re bringing 1 class, there may be a class from another school also on site. We require 1 adult provided by your school per 10 children and we rely on support from teachers and helpers to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable. School staff are responsible for pupil behaviour and First Aid provision throughout the visit.

We cannot guarantee that your group will have exclusive use of the museum. We may be open to the public and other groups may also be visiting. We are happy to discuss this with you at the time of booking.

Lunch arrangements and shop

Packed lunches can be eaten in our medieval hall or our beautiful garden. We are a charity and would appreciate it if teachers allowed children to use our small shop. We can provide Gift Bags to any value by prior arrangement.

Teacher information

We encourage teachers to come on a free pre-visit to make sure the Museum is right for your school, which we are confident it will be. To arrange a suitable time for a pre-visit, please contact us. Once bookings are confirmed we will send you a Risk Assessment, Resource Pack and further information about the visit or you can see it in the Resources section.
