Family Accessibility

If you or a member of your family has additional needs, here is some information to help you plan and prepare for your visit.

For more detailed information, please visit our access page here - https://www.sellymanormuseum.org.uk/visit/access

Visit information

  • We don’t charge admission for essential carers.
  • Tickets for adults are £5, concessions £4 (60+, students, disabled visitors), child £3 and families £15.
  • On weekdays we often have school groups visiting us so the site can be noisy. School groups leave the site by 2.30pm, so it is best to visit in the afternoon for a quieter visit.
  • We have sensory and fidget toys available at our reception desk.

Access for pushchairs and wheelchairs

  • Only the ground floor of Selly Manor Museum and our Medieval Hall are accessible by pushchair or wheelchair.
  • There is a touch-screen tablet in first room of Selly Manor, which includes videos of the upstairs rooms and information for all rooms. The display screen is at an accessible height for wheelchair users.
  • Pushchairs and wheelchairs can be left in our medieval hall when not in use.

Facilities information

  • We have a baby change mat in our accessible toilet.
  • We are a breastfeeding friendly venue.
