This exhibition celebrates tapestry created by the community.
The exhibition highlights the significance of textiles in storytelling, and which colours represent us as individuals. What colours mean the most to us? Every person is a tapestry made up of fragments.
During 2025 over forty participants, all from different walks of life took part in tapestry workshops. Their work was inspired by our Achilles tapestry at Selly Manor and its intriguing connection to a tapestry at National Trust - Packwood House
We worked with two groups – participants at Oddingley Hall in West Heath, and Shenley Welcomes (an English conversation group) at Shenley Court Hall.

This exhibition is at the Rest House on Bournville Green
