Why your pupils should visit

Selly Manor Museum engages with over 6,000 school children every year, and many schools have been visiting for several years, we are confident that we will provide an educational, focussed and fun visit.

Our Education Team bring history to life for pupils through discussion and activities and they cover a variety of Early Years and Key Stage learning. Our expert staff love sharing their knowledge with the children. We make sure we use a range of hands-on resources to ensure all of our visitors are engaged and have lots of fun!

We’ve been recognised with a Sandford Award for Heritage Education and were praised for our interactive approach to education and the quality of our staff. We have also been awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, which is the only nationally recognised indicator of good quality educational provision and effective risk management.
