Learn about two of Birmingham's great civic pioneers as we explore the past of George Cadbury and George Dawson. Drawing together photographs, speeches and objects relating to their lives, this is a fascinating dive into the lives of two of Birmingham's great men. 

This exhibition will be available to view from the 30th May-10th June 2022, from 10am-5pm. 

The exhibition takes place from 30th May - 10th June and is open Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm. There will also be the opportunity to see the exhibition on our Shakespeare's First Folio Day on Saturday 11th June.

The exhibition will be free with entry into the museum. Adults £5, Concessions £4, Children £2, Under 3s free. Bournville Village Trust will get into this exhibition for free with proof of address. 

This exhibition will be happening in our medieval hall which is fully accessible. 

This event is part of the Everything to Everybody project, The University of Birmingham and Birmingham City Council are collaborating on a £1.7 million plan to revive the city’s almost-forgotten Birmingham Shakespeare Memorial Library, housed in the iconic Library of Birmingham - and the first great Shakespeare library in the world, as well as one which from the very beginning has belonged to all the people of the city.
