Rainbow Fish is a modern classic storybook and a delightful tale with its universal message about making friends, and sharing. This underwater adventure will delight audiences with song, song telling, percussion, interaction and innovative set design using recycled plastic. This outdoor performance in the beautiful surroundings of the Selly Manor garden is sure to be a special summer treat for all the family.

Performances take place at 1pm, 2.15pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June 2021. The show lasts for approximately 45 minutes and is aimed at children aged 8 and under, and their families. We will also provide a free small craft pack for each child to take home.

Bookings will open at 10am on Tuesday 8th June. Tickets are available by calling 0121 472 0199, we have chosen this method as we need to manage the varying group sizes and allocate spaces for the performance accordingly. Each group will be able to book for a maximum of 6 people. The cost is £8 per person for both adults and children. Children aged 2 and under are free - please note that buggies will not be permitted in the audience area but there will be a buggy park available.

Your contact details will be retained for 21 days in accordance with the government's Test and Trace scheme.

This is an outdoor production with no cover so please be prepared for whatever the weather is on the day. The performance will continue regardless of weather, unless it becomes dangerous for the performers or audience.

We have some seats available but you are welcome to bring your own outdoor chairs and picnic blankets.

How will we keep you safe?
We will have hand sanitiser stations on entry, one way systems, social distancing and the event will take place outdoors with a reduced audience size.
When you are booking we'll ask how many people are in your group (maximum 6 people per group), and we will arrange the space to ensure each group is socially distanced by 1 metre.

We will be serving refreshments on the day. You are welcome to bring along your own snacks or a picnic.

The performances take place in the Selly Manor garden. There are no steps and it is a level surface. If you would like to know more or discuss accessibility then please call the Selly Manor Museum team on 0121 472 0199.
