This year for the Bournville Christmas Festival, Selly Manor will be opening its doors for a special seasonal afternoon. Visit the stunning manor as it is decorated for a Tudor Christmas. With the greenery of holly and ivy, and the atmosphere of candlelight, it promises to be a festive treat. You can 'look around for a pound' as we discover Christmases from long ago.
This event is part of the Bournville Christmas Festival. So make it an extra special festive experience with music, stalls, food and performances as the Bournville community celebrate – all culminating in the switch on of the famous Christmas tree at 5pm. Plus! Here at Selly Manor we have pre-bookable family theatre with Riverside Performing Arts as we stage performances of The Shepherd Girl's Story.
Entry to the manor for this event is £1 per person and you can pay on the door. Free admission to this event does not apply for BVT residents.
The manor will open at 2.30pm and close just before 5pm, ready for the Bournville Christmas tree lights switch on at 5pm.
Accessibility: Selly Manor is a Tudor manor and has dark lighting, uneven floors and steep stairs If you would like to know more or discuss accessibility then please call the Selly Manor Museum team on 0121 472 0199.
