Plop is a baby barn owl. He is the same as every baby barn owl that has ever been - except for one thing… he is afraid of the dark!
Riverside Performing Arts, who brought Elmer to the stage, presents Jill Tomlinson’s classic tale. Filled with song, dance, puppetry and laughter, this touching story is beautifully adapted for the stage.
The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark encourages children to be conquerors, is guaranteed to raise a smile, and will calm the biggest fears.
This outdoor performance in the beautiful surroundings of the Selly Manor garden, is sure to be a special summer treat for all the family.

£5 per person. Booking- Essential.
Children aged 1 and under are free and do not require a ticket. Free admission to this event does not apply for BVT residents
Please bring your picnic blanket or garden chair. If this is difficult please call us on 0121 472 0199 as we have a limited number that can be reserved. Feel free to bring your own picnic and drinks.
The production will go ahead whatever the weather, unless it becomes dangerous for the cast, crew or audience.
